Leading the fight on behalf of farmers to repeal the overtime rule
I’m leading the fight against Hochul & Albany’s war on family farms and rural America. I was proud to help introduce legislation that would end the overtime rule that’s devastating NY-21 farmers, & I won’t stop fighting until this is repealed.
Supporting First Responders
This Congress, I proudly voted to advance the bipartisan Public Safety Officer Benefit Support Act. This legislation would expand coverage for public safety officers who die or are disabled as a result of traumatic experiences. I will always support our first responders.
Stopping Dangerous ‘Bail Reform’ to protect our communities
Kathy Hochul’s dangerous ‘bail reform’ laws have cost lives. I helped introduce the Stop Enabling Repeat Violence and Endangering (SERVE) Our Communities Act to help incentivize New York to implement policies that will stop dangerous criminals and hold repeat offenders accountable.
Saving North Country Hospitals Millions
Carthage Area Hospital, Lewis County General Hospital, and Gouverneur Hospital were all in jeopardy of losing their critical access hospital designation. After my long bipartisan advocacy, these three hospitals are no longer in danger of losing millions in federal funds.
Strengthening US Manufacturing and Farming by Passing USMCA
I proudly supported the USMCA trade agreement, which has helped expand our markets for American-made goods and bolster NY-21’s economy. This agreement was a significant win for farmers, small businesses, manufacturers, and families.
Recovered $3 million in Social Security and Medicare for NY-21 Seniors
During my time in Congress, my office helped recover $3 million in Social Security and Medicare for NY-21 families. I will continue to protect these vital programs for seniors now and for the future.
Returned $600 Million in Taxpayer Dollars to Districts
I’m proud to have returned over $600 million to our district. This includes grants, federal funds, federal projects, local infrastructure, and constituent services.
Recovered $5.5 million for NY-21 Veterans
NY-21 is home to one of the largest veteran populations in the nation. My office has proudly recovered $5.4 million for NY-21 veterans. Those who selflessly served should not face bureaucratic failures at the VA, and I will continue to secure critical benefits for our brave veterans.
