SARATOGA, NY—Today, one of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s four Far-Left opponents Brooklyn’s ‘Bridie’ Brigid announced that she is dropping out of the New York 21st Congressional district race, citing that there is no “path to victory for a Democrat” in the newly drawn district.
‘Bridie’ Farrell released a statement:“NY-21 district now has a 23 point Republican advantage instead of the 8 point margin it had when I launched my campaign. I no longer see a path to victory for a Democrat in this race.”
Senior Advisor to Congresswoman Elise Stefanik Alex DeGrasse stated:“It’s no surprise that Brooklyn ‘Bridie’ has closed up shop on her failed campaign as Upstate New York and North Country Democrats are in total free fall. Now they are stuck with candidates:
– Matt Castelli who can cling to Joe Biden’s abysmal sinking poll numbers all the way back to his downstate hometown of Poughkeepsie and the Leftist Swamp of DC, and who must be bootlicking Joe Biden so he can get hired after he packs it in after a loss (if he can even get through his primary) that will be even worse than Taxin’ Tedra Cobb and every other Democrat who has faced Elise Stefanik.
– Communist Chinese Party’s former lawyer Matt Putorti who is running on a platform of firing our local healthcare heroes for refusing to take a vaccine, and who has referred to New Yorkers as “New Yorkians”
– Local avowed Socialist Ezra Watson.
We look forward to once again crushing whichever Radical extremist gets through the Democrat Primary, and we expect more Democrats to drop out to avoid embarrassing themselves.”
According to Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight, the new NY-21 is a ‘Solid’ Republican R+23 seat. The expanded NY-21 district voted for President Trump by 19% in 2020, nearly doubling the margin in the prior NY-21, and voted for the GOP gubernatorial candidate in 2018 by 30%. Congresswoman Stefanik has been re-elected by historic margins every single election cycle despite millions of dollars spent against her. The new seat has been described in multiple media outlets as a “GOP Super Seat.”
