GLENS FALLS, NY–Today, following Far-Left Downstate Democrat Matt Castelli’sembarrassing gaffesaying his event at the Historic Saranac Lake Museum is in Essex County, Senior Advisor to Congresswoman Elise Stefanik Alex DeGrasse released the following statement on Castelli’s decision to blame local Democrats for his mistake:
“Elise Stefanik has done hundreds and hundreds of events in both Essex County and Franklin County since she was elected to serve as Congresswoman. She is well aware of the town, village, and county lines unlike her Downstate Democrat opponent from Poughkeepsie who is frantically googling the lines. Congresswoman Stefanik is in fact the ONLY candidate who knows which county the Historic Saranac Lake Museum is located in – Franklin County.
Downstate Democrat Matt Castelli desperately changed his bio three times from Saratoga Springs to Wilton to Glens Falls, embarrassingly called Greenwich GREENWHICH, signed a short-term lease not once but TWICE, and never voted in the state of New York before moving to run for Congress. Congresswoman Stefanik is an Upstate New York native and has deep ties to Essex County and the North Country that go back over 30 years.”
