JEFFERSON COUNTY—Today, 50 Jefferson County elected officials, including 45 Republicans, 2 Independents, and 3 Democrats endorsed Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election to Congress. This includes one or more local elected officials from every town in Jefferson County in the new NY-21.
“I am honored to endorse Congresswoman Stefanik for re-election. Elise understands how critical it is to support Fort Drum, and she has delivered millions in federal funding to Fort Drum in this last Congress alone to fund critical projects and support our service members and their families,” James A. Nabywaniec, District 8, County Legislator (R). “Elise’s continued support for Fort Drum is one of many reasons I will work hard from now until Election Day to ensure she remains our representative. The North Country needs to keep Fort Drum’s chief advocate in Congress.”
