Stefanik says Youngkin has the momentum and the message, McAuliffe is ‘obsessively’ focused on Donald Trump

Washington, D.C. —This morning, GOP House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik joinedBrian Kilmeade onFox News Radio to discussJoe Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandates, Biden’s outrageous failure at our southern border costing New York taxpayers millions of dollars, and Glenn Youngkin’s energized campaign to take back Virginia.

Listen to the full interview here.

Elise Stefanik On New York’s Unconstitutional Mandates:

“New York has been in crisis for the past year. It has been unsafe, crime rates have skyrocketed, and to penalize law enforcement officers, first responders, city workers who put their lives and heath on the line…many of them contracted COVID, have that natural immunity, they should be able to make that individual decision based on conversations with their doctor.

Already we’re hearing of fire department companies having to close… You saw an announcement this morning from one of the fire chiefs that the wait times would be longer for first responders… Again, this is going to have really negative impacts on every day New Yorkers.”

Elise Stefanik On Biden’s Immigration and Border Crisis:

“This has been a lawless administration… The Biden administration is considering paying $450,000 to illegal immigrants who were separated at the border a few years ago. That is only going to pour fuel on the fire of the already raging crisis at our southern border.”

“It’s not who we are as a country, in terms of rewarding those who broke the law.”

Elise Stefanik on the Virginia’s Governor’s Race:

“I think Youngkin has the momentum behind him. He has had huge turnout at events. It’s not just Republicans, it’s Independents and Democrats who are fed up with the Far-Left politically correct leadership, and the education issue is so, so important in Virginia.

Glenn Youngkin has had a message for Virginia. Terry McAuliffenever has. No one can really say what his plans are for Virginia other than embracing Far-Left Socialist policies because he’s obsessively tried to make this about President Trump. And Youngkin is focusing on the issues that matter.”

Elise Stefanik on Biden’s $5 Trillion Spending Bill:

“Democrats want to negotiate this behind closed doors. They don’t want the American people to know all of the details in the bill. We as Republicans are making sure every American knows that not only is it the largest tax increase and the largest spending bill in our nation’s history, but it has Far-Left policy provisions like mass amnesty, like providing the IRS with 80 billion dollars to allow them to spy on every working American’s back account, it eliminates the bipartisan Hyde Amendment that protects taxpayer dollars not going to fund abortion.”

Elise Stefanik on Polling That Favors Republicans:

“They [Democrats] have failed America. It’s crisis after crisis, and we’re not only going to expose these crises, but we’re going to talk about strong leadership.”

“Seven in ten adults, including almost half of Democrats, believethat the nation is headed in the wrong direction. That’s again only after 10 months of failed policies from unified Democrat government.”
