Washington, DC – Following Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21) officially entering the race for House Republican Conference Chair, all twelve NY-21 Republican county chairs released the following statement supporting Stefanik’s candidacy:
As the 12 County Chairs in NY-21, we are incredibly proud to endorse Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for House Republican Conference Chair. Elise has been a fighter for her constituents and a defender of our conservative values in Washington. She has been a champion of our law enforcement community, helped rebuild our military, protected our farmers, brought vital jobs back to NY-21, defended our second amendment rights, and has been a leading voice against Governor Cuomo’s criminal behavior.
Elise has played an instrumental role in growing our party at the state level and has helped Republicans in the North Country win elections up and down the ballot. In the past year, she has worked hand in glove with us to register twice as many Republicans than Democrats across the district. We are confident that Elise will expand on that success as House Republican Conference Chair to fire Nancy Pelosi and flip the House. We are proud to fully support her candidacy.
