Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 73rd Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“I urged HHS to extend the public health emergency declaration related to COVID-19,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “This will allow patients, especially our seniors, to continue receiving telehealth services as we work to safely reopen our economy.”

Elise led a bipartisan letter to Department of Health and Human Services Director Alex Azar urging him to extend his declaration of a public health emergency for the coronavirus pandemic. The emergency declaration has expanded eligibility for patients to receive routine health care through telehealth care, which allows vulnerable and high-risk patients to avoid in-person visits to hospitals and health centers where they could be exposed to the coronavirus.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
