Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 62nd Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“I helped secure over $45,000 in FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grants for the Essex Fire Department to replace damaged or outdated gear,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “This funding will help ensure that our firefighters have the resources they need to do their jobs safely & effectively.”

This new funding will be used to purchase updated and enhanced firefighting gear, including the purchase of 17 complete sets of structural firefighting gear. The Essex Fire Department, established in the early 1800’s, has 20 volunteer firefighters and averages 85 calls for service a year, many of which are mutual-aid responses to neighboring Fire Districts.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
