Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 41st Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“Our North Country region is steeped in history,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I cosponsored important legislation that will protect our National Heritage Areas, which have a proven record of fostering job creation and advancing economic, cultural, historic, environmental, and community development. In addition to job creation, National Heritage Areas generate valuable revenue for local governments and sustain communities through revitalization and heritage tourism.”

Congresswoman Stefanik cosponsored the bipartisan National Heritage Area Act, which would authorize funding for National Heritage Areas for the next twenty years and strengthens the process for designating new areas. In addition to important job creation, National Heritage Areas generate valuable revenue for local governments and sustain communities through revitalization and heritage tourism.
