Herkimer County: Today, 30 Herkimer County elected officials from each town within NY-21 endorsed Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election to Congress. To date, Congresswoman Stefanik has been endorsed by 599 local elected officials throughout St. Lawrence, Essex, Saratoga, Jefferson, Clinton, Warren, Lewis, and Herkimer Counties.
These endorsements highlight the strong bipartisan, grassroots support for Congresswoman Stefanik across Herkimer County and the North Country as a whole. Congresswoman Stefanik works hard to earn each and every vote from voters who recognize her strong bipartisan record and hyper-focus on local issues and real results.
“Elise continues to prove herself as an excellent representative of her entire district in Congress and we are fortunate to have someone so capable to help us through these challenging and unprecedented times”, said Herkimer County Clerk Sylvia Rowan (R). “From fearlessly defending President Trump and the Constitution, to standing up against the Cuomo administration’s efforts to seize upstate ventilators and vital medical supplies during COVID, we know we can count on Elise to have our backs and continue to deliver when the going gets tough. I am proud to endorse her for reelection this November.”
“I am proud to endorse our great Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s reelection bid this November”, said Town of Salisbury Supervisor John Mowers (R). “Elise works incredibly hard to listen to concerns, breaks down barriers to collaboration, and delivers real, tangible, results across her district. Even more impressive is the transparency and integrity that underpin everything she does – two key characteristics in which her competition is severely lacking.”
“I’m grateful to earn the support and endorsement of each of these 30 local elected officials and community leaders in Herkimer County,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I work with all of these elected officials to deliver Real Results for our communities and ensure my constituents in Herkimer County and throughout the North Country have a seat at the table. I am honored to be ranked in the top 5% most bipartisan Members of Congress and the overwhelming support throughout my district is a reflection of that. I look forward to continuing to work with all of these Herkimer County elected officials in my next term in Congress.”
