Washington, D.C: Tonight, a video shot in New York’s 21st District in Johnstown, New York with Congresswoman Elise Stefanik and GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel was featured at the Republican National Convention.

The video was shot at the Johnstown Historical Society Museum, which highlights the birthplace of Elizabeth Cady Stanton — one of the most important women suffragists who fought tirelessly for women’s right to vote.

“I was honored and grateful to host RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel in my Upstate New York district for a wonderful conversation about women’s suffrage, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and the history of Johnstown,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “It is a true honor for the North Country to be prominently featured in the Republican National Convention. It is my hope that this convention feature will bring further tourism and recognition to our region, which is filled with rich history. Thank you to Chairwoman McDaniel for joining me to highlight the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote and all of the incredible things our brave women suffragists were able to accomplish.”
