Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 6th Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“I advocated for farms and agribusinesses to be eligible for the Emergency Disaster Loan program,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “Our North Country farmers have been hit hard by COVID-19, and this important win ensured that our farmers had access to critical support resources.”

Elise advocated to the Small Business Administration that they grant farms and agribusinesses eligibility for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans. The CARES Act, which Elise helped pass in Congress, created an important emergency economic injury grant program, but farmers and agribusinesses were not initially eligible for the program. Elise knows that agriculture is the backbone of the North Country economy, and she fought hard to ensure that farms and agribusinesses are eligible for this type of funding moving forward.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
