Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 3rd Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“COVID-19 brought to light a clear need to provide better access to meals for students in rural areas, including throughout summer break and school vacations,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “That’s why I worked with my colleagues in the House to create a 3-year pilot program that will deliver healthy meals to kids during summer and school breaks.”

Upstate New York has many rural school districts, and many of our students come from isolated, underserved communities that do not have access to consistent, nutritious food options. The Meals on Wheels for Kids Act will provide $5 million in additional funding for states to create individual programs that allow them to meet the unique needs of their communities. This is an important win for students and families across the North Country, and Elise continues to be a consistent advocate for important programs that support rural areas.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
