Saratoga, NY: Today, Elise for Congress released the 1st Result in the campaign’s 100 Days, 100 Results program highlighting 100 of the critical wins that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has delivered to the North Country.
“I was proud to deliver an additional $2.5 million in federal funding for Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I personally rewrote the formula used to allocate HHS funding to enable Samaritan to receive the funding after they were left out of earlier rounds of rural hospital funding because of a classification error. The North Country relies on our local hospitals to care for our families, and I will continue to go above and beyond to deliver funds to our NY-21 hospitals and community health centers.”

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Elise has made supporting our local hospitals a top priority. In total, she has secured $165 million in funding for our North Country hospitals, and she has worked directly with the Department of Health and Human services to ensure that rural hospitals receive the resources they need to serve our communities safely, effectively, and efficiently.
Elise for Congress will release a new Result each day through the November 3rd election to highlight the campaign’s laser focus on Real Results for the North Country.
