Saratoga, NY: Today, 66 Saratoga County elected officials from every town in the county within NY-21 endorsed Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for re-election to Congress.

These endorsements highlight the strong bipartisan, grassroots support for Congresswoman Stefanik across Saratoga County and the North Country as a whole. Congresswoman Stefanik works hard to earn each and every vote from voters who recognize her strong bipartisan record and hyper-focus on local issues and real results.

“I am proud to endorse Congresswoman Stefanik for re-election this November,” said Andrew Jarosh, Treasurer, Saratoga County. “Elise has fulfilled all of her promises to her Saratoga County constituents, protecting the Constitution, never raising taxes, re-building our military, and supporting our law enforcement. That is in stark contrast to her Far-Left opponent, who has raised taxes countless times as a local elected official, was caught on video supporting a gun ban, and publicly supports Nancy Pelosi’s anti-police bill that endangers our law enforcement. In November – the choice is clear, Elise Stefanik.”

“Elise continues to be a reliable, independent voice in Congress,” said Judith Wood-Shaw, Mayor, Village of Stillwater. “She has proven that she’s willing to work on both sides of the aisle to get things done for Upstate New York, and she keeps the promises that she makes to our hardworking families. We need more leaders like Elise who put the North Country first and work for us in Washington. I’m proud to endorse Elise Stefanik for Congress and look forward to working with her to keep supporting our communities.”

“Elise is a tireless advocate for the North Country, and I’m proud to support her re-election for Congress,” said Edward Kinowski, Town Supervisor, Stillwater. “Time and time again, Elise has been there for us when no one else was. Being a town supervisor during the COVID-19 pandemic was a tough, unprecedented challenge. But Elise was there every step of the way: talking with us, hearing our concerns, and working nonstop to make sure that our communities have the resources we need to get through this. Elise’s leadership and focus are unparalleled, and we are fortunate to have her fighting on our behalf in Congress.”

“I’m grateful for the support and endorsement of each of these 66 local elected officials and community leaders in Saratoga County,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I work with local leaders – Republicans, Democrats, and Independents – on issues important to Upstate to achieve real, bipartisan results for our region. My opponent, Taxin’ Tedra, refuses to work with anyone except for the Far-Left wing of her radical party and would be a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi in Congress. I work hard to ensure the North Country has a seat at the table on the federal level and will work with anyone to get things done and achieve real results.”
