Glens Falls, NY: Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s campaign begins the 2020 congressional election with a near 10 to one cash on hand advantage over failed Democrat Tedra Cobb, who publicly announced her candidacy just minutes after her election night loss last November. Cobb officially filed her campaign account in February to begin raising money.
Stefanik’s 2020 re-election campaignannounced a firstquarter fundraising total of more than $360,000, withdonations from each of the 12 counties in New York’s 21stCongressional District, and now has more than $630,000 cash on hand. According to Federal Election Commission filings, failed 2018 Democrat Tedra Cobb raised a woefully anemic $46,562.
E-PAC, Stefanik’s organization aimed at electing GOP women and helping qualified female candidates pre-primary, raised nearly $280,000 since its re-launch, surpassing its earlier goal of $100,000. Stefanik proudly contributed the maximum allowable amount to all current female Republican incumbents and has already spoken to dozens of interested female candidates, some of whom decided to run for Congress during E-PAC’s launch event.
Congresswoman Stefanik said the generous campaign support from all twelve counties reflected her strong district first approach to delivering real results for North County families.
“While I remain focused on constituent service and on addressing a full array of legislative challenges affecting our District, I’m grateful for the generous campaign support across the North Country,” said Stefanik.“Supporters in each of our 12 counties know my record of putting our District first, and of delivering results for our small businesses, our veteran and military service members, our farmers, and for our families.”
