STEFANIK EARNS ENDORSEMENT OF THIRTY-SEVEN ELECTED OFFICIALS IN WARREN COUNTY;
ENDORSED BY 600 LOCAL LEADERS ACROSS ALL TWELVE COUNTIES IN NY-21
– “It is important to be able to work with those you disagree with in order to deliver results for those who elected you. Elise has adopted this approach in her career and, because of her ability to cross the aisle, she has effectively represented us in Washington. I am pleased to endorse Elise.” –
Glens Falls: The Stefanik campaign today announced the endorsement of thirty-seven Republican elected officials across every town in Warren County.
Since the general election, Congresswoman Stefanik has earned the endorsement of 600 locally elected and appointed leaders from all twelve counties within the 21st District, including nearly forty Democrats and Independents.
“I know what it is like to work across the aisle to get things done,” said Warren County Board of Supervisors Chairman Ron Conover. “At every level of government, it’s important to be able to work with those you disagree with in order to deliver results for those who elected you. Congresswoman Stefanik has adopted this approach in her career and, because of her ability to cross the aisle, she has effectively represented us in Washington. She can bridge the partisan gap that has seemingly appeared in all levels of our government and she will continue to do so. I am pleased to endorse Elise.”
“I have personally known Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for many years and am proud to call her a professional and personal friend,” said Horicon Town Supervisor Matthew Simpson. “She has been instrumental in helping her constituents and members of my own town to resolve issues that no one else would or even could address. She is willing and cares enough to pick up the phone on behalf of those she represents. I am once again proud and willing to endorse Congresswoman Stefanik for re-election. If we want to continue to have a Representative who really cares and is willing to go to bat for us, I encourage all voters to vote for Elise.”
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of each of these elected leaders throughout Warren County,” said Stefanik. “I’ve worked with these leaders to deliver real results for families and for small business owners across the County.”
“I sincerely thank them, and all 600 local elected and appointed leaders – Republicans, Independents and Democrats – for their crucial endorsements. Working alongside our entire grassroots network of volunteers and supporters across the North Country, our campaign will continue to earn every vote, and will win on Election Day.”
